CSIR Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for CSIR JSA 2025:

1. Junior Secretariat Assistant (Gen/F&A/S&P) – 10+2/XII or its equivalent and proficiency in computer type speed and in using computer as per the prescribed norms fixed by DOPT from time to time.

2. Junior Stenographer – 10+2/XII or its equivalent and proficiency in stenography as per the prescribed norms fixed by DOPT from time to time.

Age Limit for CSIR JSA 2025: (As on 21.04.2025)

1. Junior Secretariat Assistant (Gen/F&A/S&P) – Not exceeding 28 years

2. Junior Stenographer – Not exceeding 27 years

Relaxation of Upper age limit:

For SC/ ST Applicants: 5 years

For OBC Applicants: 3 years

For PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Applicants: 10 years

For PwBD (SC/ ST) Applicants: 15 years

For PwBD (OBC) Applicants: 13 years
